EDITION 12 / 2025

Hey Reader!! 🖤

How has your week been? TBH I have found myself getting a little overwhelmed this week.🫤

I’ve got a lot of things I want to do to grow my business - things I’m actually excited about. But sometimes, I hit that point where everything feels equally important, and I don’t know where to start. I feel pulled in a dozen directions... and then the excitement turns into mild panic. To-do lists scare me! 😬

So I took my own advice and simplified.

I grabbed a notebook, headed to my favourite coffee shop, put on some chilled tunes, and let myself step away from distractions. Sure, there are a hundred expert frameworks I could have followed — but I wanted something simple. Something that felt like me.

Enter: my Kick-Ass Kondo Method™ 😜🤣

(PS: I went old-school with pen and paper, but you can absolutely do this digitally too.)

Step 1: The Big-Ass List of Everything

I started with a brain dump on a new, clean page. I consolidated all my to-dos, reminders and tasks into one (very) long list. But it was weirdly comforting - just seeing it all in one place already made me feel more in control.

Step 2: Sort with Calm Ruthlessness 😁

Next, I created three new lists: Now, Next, and Someday.

Then I went through each item and asked:

  • Is this urgent or time-sensitive?
  • Will it move my business forward in a clear, tangible way?

If yes — it went on the Now list. If it could wait a bit or needed something else to happen first — Next. If it felt low-priority, vague, or like something I felt like I 'should' do - on the Someday list it went.

Already just doing that made me feel a bit better.

Step 3: 3 is the magic number

Now here’s the magic bit for me. I picked 3 tasks from the Now list to focus on for the coming week. Then I chose 3 for next week and 3 for the week after that. Doing that made me instantly feel more in control and like it was all achievable.

If I finish this week’s 3 early, I’ll grab something from the Next list. And once all the Now tasks are done I will revisit this process and move some Next tasks to Now.

And for the Someday stuff — it’s still there for when I’ve got energy and time or just feel inspired. (Altho I realized that some of them didn’t actually matter or need to be there - so they got deleted entirely.)

I'm not pretending this is some fancy productivity method or unique to me. But it’s simple, which is what I needed. It it actually seems to work...plus it felt like it gave me my headspace back this week.

It's nice to feel like I don’t have to finish everything to just make progress. Just 3 meaningful tasks each week has helped me move forward and feel a hell of a lot calmer. Highly recommend. 🖤

Luxury in simplicity

Keeping with a theme, this week over on YouTube I am once again proving that simplicity is often the key to effectiveness in design.

Jil Sander said "I am convinced that there is luxury in simplicity.” and I totally agree. I find that simple animation and motion can often lead to the most elegant looking results. So in this week's tutorial I am showing how you can use really basic elements in Canva, and just with some simple changes and a little of that Canva 'match & move' magic - turn it into something that is elegant but engaging - and perfect to showcase almost anything, or just add a little editorial style to your content.

I'd love to know what you think so check it out and let me know in the comments. And I'd love to see what creative ways you come up with to use this! Remember, creativity and simplicity are the perfect collaborators!

Meaningful Creations

The ONE thing that genuinely shaped my business.

I don’t recommend many things when it comes to online business - mostly because I know how noisy it can be out there. But when I find something that I truly believe in and want to support, I try to make sure I share it.

WAIM Unlimited is one of those rare programs.

If you’ve ever felt that growing your business means working yourself into the ground, or like you should be further along, or just felt alone or not sure how to move forward - Wandering Aimfully (affectionately known as WAIM) is probably the breath of fresh air you didn’t know you needed.

It’s an 'unboring' coaching program designed for solo business owners and creators who want to build a calm, profitable, sustainable business - without chasing trends or hustling harder. And it's been a game-changer for me. (And I don't use that cliché often I promise you! 😜)

But it's actually way more that that too. It's a combination of coaching, resources and community, all by people who walk the talk.

Inside WAIM, you get access to:

  • 70+ coaching sessions that walk you through every part of building an intentional business (the 'Marketing Bridge' training really changed how I think about marketing!)
  • The Calm Launch Formula, which has literally shaped how I approach my launches - without stress, with a step-by-step plan
  • A genuinely supportive community no pressure, no comparison - just kindness and real conversations
  • A lifetime Teachery account the course platform my courses are hosted on. (And yes, it's a lifetime account! No monthly fees!)
  • Plus access to all of WAIM’s future tools, including AI-powered creator tools launching in 2026

This is the FINAL time WAIM Unlimited will ever be open. After June 24, it’s gone for good. But Caroline and Jason (who created WAIM) are evolving the business into something new, and are taking us along for the journey.

They have this unique business model where once you join, you become part of what comes next. So you buy into a library of valuable existing tools, plus future products and tools still to be created.

But what I love most is that WAIM kinda meets you where you are. Whether you’re just starting out, pivoting, or just tired of trying to figure it all out alone, I found WAIM gave me the practical and the mindset support to move forward calmly and confidently.

Plus, it’s run by two of the most generous, transparent humans I’ve ever learned from - Jason and Caroline don’t pretend to have it all figured out. They share what’s working, what’s changing, and how they’re adapting in real time.

If your business needs less chaos and more clarity and you’re ready to stop doing it all alone...AND you want a business based around YOUR definition of success and not what others expect, then I whole-heartedly recommend Wandering Aimfully. But they explain it better than I ever could:

👉 Check out WAIM Unlimited here

Enrollment closes June 24, and it really is the last time. If you’ve been thinking about it for a while, then this is the moment. 😉

I hope you have a fabulous week - and wish you a blessed Solstice! 🖤

*Note: If it wasn’t already obvious, I’m an affiliate for WAIM Unlimited and receive a commission if you sign up through my link. i think you’re going to love WAIM and I promise I wouldn’t promote it if I didn’t believe in it!
