Hi there lovely humans! 🖤
I don’t know about you, but I could really do with living in some 'precedented times' for a while 🤣😜!
Honestly, I’ve been feeling pretty overwhelmed by all the horrible stuff happening in the world. And I’m torn - because I firmly believe we can’t just ignore it. The world needs us to speak up, to be a voice for kindness, empathy, and what’s right.
At the same time, I want this newsletter to stay a place where we build, grow, and learn together - not somewhere that weighs heavy on your inbox. So here’s where I’ve landed: if we focus on creating businesses rooted in empathy and respect for other humans, while also building lives that allow us to be genuinely happy, then we are being the change the world needs. Maybe we can’t fix everything, but we can each change something - and it all adds up.
A client reminded me today of that old truth: 'you can’t pour from an empty cup.' And I know a lot of us are feeling like we’re running on empty right now. I see you.
Which is why I will just leave ya with this reminder from lyricist and composer Jonathan Larson: “The opposite of war isn’t peace; it’s creation.”
So let’s keep creating - in every sense.🫰🏼
Us vs The Machines
I've talked a bit about AI, and my mixed feelings about it & how it's been positioned (and mini rant: I am really puzzled how every creator and their cat are suddenly AI experts...even if they have NEVER mentioned it before! 🙄🤨).
ANYWAY....I would really appreciate if you would spare a few minutes to just answer a quick question for me around this topic. This is both to gauge where you stand on AI, and also to give me some idea of whether creating content for you around AI as a tool would be helpful. (And of course feel free to drop me a line if you have anything you'd like to add.)
As always, thank you for being here and for your input.
Where are you on your journey with AI? |

Meaningful Creations
This week I want to share the work of an artist who seems to live with one foot firmly in two worlds. She’s both a fine artist and a skilled, hands-on metalworker - and her creations carry that beautiful tension.
JunkoMori is a Japanese artist based in Wales. She works in a variety of metals, drawing inspiration from living matter and the natural world. Her signature style is all about creating a magical impact from thousands (literally thousands) of tiny metal components, painstakingly assembled into a single sculpture.
The scale of her work varies, but each piece is just incredible. It’s honestly hard to believe her medium is metal when you see the flow, movement, and intricate detail she achieves. Her art is all about contrasts - blurring the boundaries between fine art and craft - and I love how she takes a material that should feel cold and unyielding, yet transforms it into something so alive and moving.
Check out her instagram or website. And tell here I sent ya. 😉
Right folks - have a fabulous week ahead and remember to take some time to look after YOU.
I am FINALLY able to record again so keep an eye out for new tutorials coming to YouTube soon! 🎉
I appreciate you. 🖤
