EDITION 01 / 2025

Hello Reader!!

First of all - Happy New Year! (or HNY as the kids say 😜) I am so excited to be dropping in to your inbox at the start of a fresh, shiny, pristine new year. I wish you a year ahead that is full of joy, success, love... and a touch of magic. 🖤

2025 is ALREADY teaching me things. Like how I can't control everything and sometimes just have to go with the flow. 🫤 Because despite my best plans, I have started the year off with a cold, and a voice that makes me sound like Bea Arthur before her first coffee! 🤣

But all that means is that my recording schedule has to shift a little...and that I consequently have more time to spend on these emails that I so love writing. So it's all good. 😁 Right? RIGHT?

Reflections

I'm sure that you - like me - have been doing a lot of thinking lately about what you want from the year ahead. I don't think it's wise to overburden yourself with loads of resolutions etc...but I have been thinking about what I want to leave behind - the habits that no longer serve me and the negative thoughts that hold me back. And while I may not be fashionable... I do know what's IN and what's OUT for me this year: 😜

I have also been thinking about what word or phrase I would like to choose as my intention for 2025. (I have a lot of friends who do this every year.) Lately my focus has felt a little divided & distracted ...so I thought this would be a good exercise for me. And after debating a lot of pretty typical words that just felt a little generic, one phrase came up that really hit home.

Y'see my focus this year is get out of my head (take a seat comparison and doubt! 🤔), and keep momentum going for this business that I am so proud of. So the phrase that I choose as my intention (and gentle reminder) for the year is:

Meaningful Creations

This week I wanted to share the work of Anna Devís + Daniel Rueda. This fabulous duo of Spanish photographers have been creating images that "make you look twice" for many years now, and they never cease to bring me joy whenever I see them.

They combine environmental, crafted and posed elements to create images that turns the ordinary into something magical, and really just represent the epitome of creativity for me...looking at things in a different way.

And you know I'mm all about spreading joy and they bring such a smile to face whenever I see their work, so I hope you enjoy it too. Check put their instagram, or their website. And tell them I sent ya! 😉
