EDITION 12 / 2026

Hey you lovely human. 😊

Today's newsletter comes to you from a dark office where I am hiding from the insane heat we are experiencing in the UK. Now, before you tell me it's not that bad, bear in mind I grew up in Africa - so I don't mind heat. But in a country where the houses are designed to keep heat IN, and where humidity sits at 76% (I kid you not) today...it's not the fun kinda heat 🀣.

ANYWAY...I was reading more this week about how learning patterns are shifting. Not just because of new technology (though that's obviously a huge part of it), but because of so many other things too - age, neurodiversity, how busy life is, what kind of learners we are as individuals. It's really fascinating - and it explains a lot! The way one person absorbs and applies a new skill can look completely different from the next person. Which sounds obvious when you say it out loud, but I find it kinda exciting 😁.

Cos here's the thing - I love learning about what makes people tick, and how to best communicate and share knowledge. Not just showing you how to do something, but helping it actually stick, and feel doable, and fit into your real life. That matters to me more than the teaching itself, if that makes sense? It really doesn't take much to try and be considerate of how other people prefer to learn and be treated, and it makes all the difference. We all want to be really seen, right?

So if I want to really help people level up their skills, and make positive, lasting change, I need to know I am delivering and sharing in ways that work for as many people as possible - not just people who learn in 1 specific way. I could be completely missing the mark for other people - and I don't love that thought. 🫀

I really need your help

This week I don't have a new YouTube video because I am desperately trying to finish the Bonus modules for my CanvaOS members before I actually melt!! (Although I would OF COURSE encourage you to browse through past videos for any you may find helpful 😊).

So I want to do something a little different and flip it around this week - I want to hear from you.

I've put together a short survey (we're talking 5 minutes, literally) and I'd love it if you'd add your voice. It'll help me understand how you like to learn, what you'd actually find valuable, and what I can build next that would really help you level up. Your answers will directly shape what I create - so this is a proper, meaningful (Ha!🀣) one if you've got a spare moment to help.

AND to say thank you for taking the time to do this, I will be selecting 5 submissions at random and those people will win a free social media template pack (of their choice) from those currently available in my template store. πŸŽ‰πŸΎπŸ₯³

Just hit the button below to open the survey, and don't forget to hit 'SUBMIT' at the end. Thank you - I really appreciate (and genuinely value!) your input.

Meaningful Creations

You don't get much more 'meaningful' than saving the planet. 😜 And whilst most of us try and do our bit, Clarisse Merlet - founder of French startup FabBRICK - is busy turning old clothes into beautiful building blocks...and doing it with style. 😎

FabBRICK takes textile waste that would otherwise end up in landfill - and we're talking 10 to 15 million tonnes of the stuff every year (😧!) from fast fashion - compresses it with a natural bio-based glue, and turns it into bricks. Each brick is made using just shredded fabric and is dried naturally - no chemicals, no heat. The colour you see in the finished brick? That's just the fabric!

And I think they look stunning. They are warm, textured, sculptural and tactile and can be used in so many clever ways. Plus FabBRICK also do bespoke shapes and structures for furniture and other projects. And of course everything they create actively removes waste from landfill.

Sure, they're not cheap to produce and Clarisse has been the first to admit that scaling this is the next challenge. But I love that she didn't wait for a perfect solution before she started making. She had an idea and just started, and the making became the proof.

Which is a good reminder I guess - I know I could certainly do with remembering that sometimes. πŸ–€

Check out their instagram , and tell them I sent ya.πŸ˜‰

Before I go, I have ONE more request: If you know someone that may enjoy or benefit from this newsletter, please would you consider just hitting that 'Forward' button and sending it to them? I would really appreciate it.

Have a fabulous week folks. πŸ–€
